March 30—Spring Luncheon
April 6—Low Gross Low Net
18 hole stroke play. Add up your gross score and subtract your
course handicap to yield your net score.
Record both scores on Play Day sheet.

April 13—Kick’em to the Curb
Throw out your worst Par 3, Par 4, Par 5 holes. Subtract
½ your course handicap. Post your ESC
Score.
April 20—Odd/Even Partners
One player scores odd holes 1, 3, 5, 7,
9, the other player scores even holes 10, 12, 14, 16, 18 (
determined before playing).
Record your scores on the team scorecard for the 10 holes and subtract ½ your combined handicaps for the final score
of the day. Post your ESC score.
April 27—Rally for the Cure
Breast Cancer fund raiser. Entry fee $20.00 Favors, contests and prizes.
May 4—Most of a Kind
Players will count the most frequent
score earned on each of the 18 holes.
If you have 7 “6’s”, that will be your score for the game. Mark that number and circle it on your scorecard
for the hostesses. Record your entire
score and post your ESC score.
May 11—Red Hot Putter
Accumulate points with your putter to
win this game. 18 hole stroke play. One (+1) point for each 2 putt, Two (+2)
points for each 1 putt, Minus one (-1) for each 3 putt or more. Post your ESC score.

18—2 Person Low Ball
Play your own ball, but record the best score of the
two for the game of the day scorecard.
Subtract ½ of combined handicap.
Post your ESC score.

25—Memorial Tournament
Low net score for 18 holes wins this tournament held
in honor of those women who belonged to Town & Country Golf Association and
have passed away.
This is a major tournament. Post scores as “T” (tournament) for GHIN.

8—Partner Putting
You are a putting team. Record the lowest number of the putts between
you and your partner for each hole on the team scorecard. ADD your team putts to get your total. Lowest number of putts wins. Post your ESC score.

15—Open (no play) School Days Tournament

22—Scotch Two Ball
Invite a gentleman to be your guest in this fun
format. Partners A
& B each tee off from their normal tees.
Then each player plays the other persons ball. (A hits B’s ball and B hits A’s ball) After the second shots, choose the best ball
to play the third shot. Alternate shots from this point until the ball is holed out. Total the gross score and subtract the team
handicap to yield the net score.

29—Blind Partners
18 hole stroke play.
Total scorecards with gross and net scores. Give cards to hostesses. Cards will be randomly drawn and paired for
“blind partners”. Resulting partners
with low net score wins game of the day.
Post ESC scores.
July
6—Firecracker Special
Hostesses assign teams of four players (A,B, C, D). Players
designate themselves as player 1,2,3 & 4. Player 1 is assigned holes 1,5,9,13 & 17.
Player 2 is assigned holes 2,6,10 14 & 18. Player 3 is assigned holes 3,7,11 &
15. Player 4 is assigned holes 4,8,12 &
16. A “Firecracker” ball will be given
to each team to be used by the assigned player.
Each player hits the Firecracker ball on assigned holes and maintains
her own scorecard. Then each player
records the scores of her assigned holes onto the Firecracker score card. If the firecracker ball is lost the team is
eliminated. If it is lost, continue play
so individual scores can be posted. Post
ESC scores.
July
13—Handicap Tournament 1st Round
Stroke play, low net. Medalist
determined by low net. Good luck to
all! This is a major Tournament. Flights for the final round will be
determined by first round scores. Post scores
as “T” for GHIN. Good Luck to all!

20—Handicap Tournament Final Round
Stroke play, low net. Flights
determined by scores from Round 1.
Resulting Low Net scores from
the 36 holes determines winners. Post
scores as “T” for GHIN.

3—Pick up Sticks
Hostesses will assign “Town” and “Country” teams (by
handicap) and stroke
scorecards. Match play format with a
twist! If you lose a hole, your opponent
may designate one of your clubs out of play.
(Putter is exempt) You may get
the club back when you win a hole and designate one of your opponents clubs out
of play. Match is complete per match
play rules, or whenever you run out of clubs!
August
10—Open (no play) Capitol City Tournament
August 17—Closest to the Pin on all Par 3’s.
Everyone plays.
No one pays. 4 winners. Post your ESC score.
August
25—Fourscore
Total of all par 4’s minus ½
your handicap. Post ESC score.
August
31—Member Guest
Invite a lady
to be your guest for a fun day of golf, lunch and prizes. Two Lady Scramble.
September
7—4 Person Name It and Claim It
Teams paired by handicap. Assign holes before your team tees off. Two players are assigned 5 holes each, with 2
players assigned 4 holes each. Your team decides who will
play which hole. Initial the hole you
will play. Record results on a team
score card. Post your ESC score.
September
14—Club Championship Qualifying Round
Stroke play. This is a
major tournament. Flights for final
round will be determined by qualifying 18 hole gross
scores. Post as “T” for tournament. Good Luck to all!
September
21—Club Championship Final Round
Flights determined by gross scores from qualifying
round. Total 36 hole
gross score is the winner. Post as “T”
for tournament. Good Luck!!
September
28—Beat the Champ or Rainy Day Make-up
18 hole stroke play.
Anyone beating half the score of our club champion is the winner. Post ESC score
October
5—Pick your Own Foursome
Individual play- low gross low net. Post your ESC
score.

12—Four Lady Scramble
Paired by handicap. You MUST use each person’s drive at
least 4 times.
October
19—You’re in Charge
Throw out your 3 worst holes and change to par. Post your ESC score.

26—BOO
What a fun day this will be! Scary Holes to be announced by the
tournament committee.
November
2—Fall Meeting and Luncheon
